Seminole Summer Reading Challenge! 📖
In an effort to continue our reading initiatives at Seminole, we would like to invite all of our students to participate in our summer reading challenge! Research shows that students who continue to engage in reading over the summer continue to maintain the academic progress they made in the previous school year!
The activity includes reading in different situations, such as reading with a pet or a stuffed animal. There are 30 different tasks to complete! A parent/guardian must initial each square when the student has completed the task. Students will turn in the paper to their new classroom teacher at open house. Each student that completes the challenge will be entered into a drawing in August! If you do not have access to print it at home, you can come into the office and pick one up!

🥳Mrs. Vandermolen has been the Assistant Principal and we are excited to support her in her new role!
Please join us in welcoming SEM's new principal, Sonya Vandermolen. Mrs. VanderMolen might be new to the role, however, she is not new to our school. She has served as Seminole's assistant principal for the past three years; helping our kids grow and working toward SEM's vision of success for all students. We are excited to continue on our path to success and look forward to all of the strengths Mrs. VanderMolen will bring with her along that journey.
