Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college. Thank you for helping our school celebrate Attendance Awareness Month!
Parents, our first School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting is on September 12th at 5:30 pm in the media center. Join us to learn about these parent meetings, discuss allocated funds, and review our School Improvement Plan (SIP). We’ll also seek your input on topics for future meetings!

Starting September 3rd, Seminole Elementary will be celebrating Attendance Matters Month! Students with high attendance rates are more likely to achieve success not only in elementary school, but throughout their school career and beyond. They are also more likely to build relationships with teachers and other students. We will kick off Attendance Matters Month with a perfect attendance contest. Students with perfect attendance in the month of September will be entered into a raffle drawing. See the attachments for more details. Attend today, achieve tomorrow!
