Britani Stanley was officially appointed Principal of Pine View Academy by the Okeechobee County School Board at its February 10 meeting, effective July 1, 2026. A former classroom teacher and District Math & Science Coach, Mrs. Stanley has served the district in a variety of leadership roles focused on student learning, school improvement, and performance outcomes. She served as Coordinator of Accountability & Assessment from 2018 to 2024, and in 2024 also assumed responsibility for the district’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program. Since 2025, she has served as Director of Accountability & Assessment/VPK Programs, supporting schools through meaningful data use, instructional improvement, and program quality.

Mrs. Stanley’s leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that every child can grow and achieve when adults create the right conditions—strong instruction, supportive systems, and a culture where students feel known, challenged, and empowered. She emphasizes collaborative leadership, clear expectations, and continuous improvement, using data as a tool to strengthen teaching and learning while keeping the whole child at the center of every decision. She believes the strongest schools are built through shared ownership—among staff, families, and community partners—and that early learning is the foundation that makes long-term success possible.

As Principal of Pine View Academy, Mrs. Stanley’s key focus areas will include:

  • A safe, joyful, and structured learning environment: Creating consistent routines and positive school culture where young learners feel secure, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

  • High-quality early learning experiences: Ensuring developmentally appropriate, engaging instruction that builds strong foundations in early literacy, early math, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.

  • Strong family-school partnerships: Welcoming families as essential partners, prioritizing regular communication, and connecting families to resources that support student success.

  • Instructional excellence and staff support: Building a team culture focused on shared learning, coaching, and strong instructional practices—especially in the early grades.

  • Data-informed improvement: Using assessment and observation data responsibly to celebrate progress, respond quickly to student needs, and strengthen systems across the school.

Mrs. Stanley is also a proud parent of two children—one a graduate of the district’s VPK program, and one who will be a student in Pine View Academy’s VPK program in 2026–27—giving her a personal connection to the experience families have as they begin their child’s educational journey.
