Monday is Veterans Day! The FFA and band will be holding a ceremony to honor veteran family members. Family members who are veterans are welcome to attend. Please bring an ID and check in at the front office upon arrival.

First and foremost, thank you all for putting in the effort to try out! I loved seeing the teamwork, support, and hard work you demonstrated this week. There was a lot of potential. If you did not make the team, I really hope to keep seeing you at club days so we can continue building your skills for next year! Dear OMS Beginning Band Families, Don't forget! Tonight, beginning at 6:00 p.m., our students will perform in the Beginning Band Showcase in the OMS gymnasium. The call time for students is 5:30 p.m., and the gym will open for entry at that time. We look forward to seeing you there!

Calling All OMS Students and Parents: Don't forget! You may dress up on Thursday, 10/31 for $2.00. Bring $2.00 with you to participate in dressing up at OMS for the day. Proceeds will benefit our Drama Club. Remember that all costumes must be dress-code appropriate and cannot contain weapons or full face masks.

Attention Parents of St. Augustine Students: Students are projected to arrive at the school between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m. Please meet us there. Students had a blast!

Dear Parents of St. Augustine Trip Attendees, All students attending our trip via bus in the morning should arrive on campus no later than 5:00 a.m. If any parents are planning to drive separately from the school bus, please ensure you arrive at the Visitor Information Center in St. Augustine by 9:00 a.m. Thank you!

Pep Squad Tryouts Update! As a result of Hurricane Milton, tryouts have been moved to Monday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 30. We are now on Athletic Clearance, so students will need to submit their physicals to the office and complete the FHSAA videos and all required forms on Athletic Clearance. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Blomerth at Sarah.blomerth@okeeschools.org.

Parents of 6th Grade Students: 6th grade health screenings will take place on October 28 and 29, 2024. Forms were sent home on October 2, 2024, with an opt-out option. If you do not want your child to participate in the health screenings, please return the form as soon as possible. Thank you!
