🍎Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program, or VPK, is a free educational program that prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond. Children must be 4 on or before September 1 of the school year they enroll.

✨Great Opportunity: Youth Leadership Forum💫 This a unique leadership-training program for students with disabilities. Students participate in a multi-faceted series of leadership training, mentoring, job preparation, and career exploration activities to build social and communication skills. Florida students aged 15-21 that are currently enrolled in high school are invited to apply. The dates for this year’s forum are July 7th-July 12th in-person at FSU in Tallahassee. Cost is free for all participants. Deadline to apply is March 28! 👨🏼💻👩🏽💻

📔Algebra 1a I.N.B📘 Mrs. Rivero's students are hard at work mastering the slope-intercept form of linear equations! To help them remember the key parts of the equation and their roles in graphing, they created a colorful foldable. 🎨 Adding that splash of color not only makes learning fun but also engages both sides of the brain—something Mrs. Rivero loves to incorporate into her teaching! 🧠 Mrs. Rivero is always researching how the brain learns, ensuring her students get the best, most effective learning experience possible.

🎓Congratulations to the recipients of IRSC's Take Stock in Children scholarship! 👩🏻🎓🧑🏽🎓 This incredible 4-year tuition scholarship worth $17,000 will help pave the way for their future success. A ceremony is scheduled for April 29th at the Massey Campus of IRSC to recognize our Freshmen and the TSIC OHS graduates. ✨
